View of a ferry used to explore gold in Crepori river. Criminal groups are illegally exploring a indigenous land protected by law -Munduruku indigenous people's land. For the past thirty years, the Crepori river has been exploited in search of gold in a crescent level. As the river is an important tributary of Tapajós river (one of the biggest Amazon basin river), environmentalists concerns are focused on the high level of damage this illegal mining is causing to Amazon basin and Amazonia biome.
